The preschool children really enjoyed the visit from Critter Creek Wildlife today. They really captured the kids attention with their engaging presentation, the children asked alot of really good questions and the speakers shared alot of interesting information. After the presentation came the live birds, The first was a large owl and the children learned how far their wing span is and how they can turn their heads around, then a smaller owl came out and the kids were sure to be extra quiet so they would not scare him. Lastly they brought out a falcon, we talked about how important his talons were for him to survive. We sure did learn alot today! |
