The preschool children had a great time this week watching our butterfly eggs hatch and the kids were amazed to see what happened next, first came the larva then the pupa and after that every day the kids would wait patiently as we waited for the adult butterflies to arrive and soon that day came first one, two, three, four and at last the final and fifth one. The kids were really amazed at how they transformed, it was interesting because one of the butterflies was hatched with three wings which gave everyone a lot of open discussion about differences in all life. And yes Ms. Kristine was afraid of the butterflies..... |
